ONE person was treated for smoke inhalation following a kitchen fire in Stretford at the weekend.
Crews were called to a terraced house in Ennerdale Road at around 8.30pm on Sunday October 23.
They found a fire involving oven gloves and a cooker in the kitchen. An occupant suffered smoke inhalation and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Firefighters extinguished the fire and were at the scene for around 45 minutes.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “We’d like to use this as an opportunity to remind people to take extra care when cooking, not to leave food unattended and avoid using chip pans.”
