TRAFFORD Park-based family company, Creamline Dairies has donated a day's worth of milk - 72 pints - to St Ann’s Hospice.

The donation was made to celebrate the hospice’s Time for Tea month this September, which encourages people to host a tea party to raise much-needed funds for the hospice.

Creamline has been a long standing supporter of St Ann’s Hospice, and last year managed to hit the £100,000 mark in its fundraising efforts.

The company’s support has included ‘Pay for a Day’, an initiative set up by the hospice that calls on companies or individuals to cover the cost of 24 hours of care at St Ann’s.

Last November, Creamline also attended St Ann’s Little Hulton Christmas fair, where visitors were greeted by the vintage float and giant skittles, all in aid of the charity.

Eamonn O’Neal, chief executive at St Ann’s Hospice, said: “We’re very grateful to Creamline for the fantastic donation of a day’s worth of milk ensuring that our patients, visitors, volunteers and staff were kept topped up with brews.

“To receive such continued support from a local company is amazing. St Ann’s has to raise £16,000 each day to continue to provide the highest quality care to the people who need it most, so we depend on companies such as Creamline to help us raise the money we need to support individuals within Greater Manchester.”
