Age UK's Urmston premises
AGE UK Trafford is holding a free electric blanket testing event at its Urmston base, in preparation for the coming winter.
People are being invited to bring along their electric blanket along to the charity's new premises at the Sharples Building, 1-3 Church Rd, Urmston, M41 9EH (where the Chef Peking Restaurant used to be) between 10am and 4pm on October 12, and have it tested free of charge. If your blanket fails the test then Age UK Trafford will replace it with a new one.
There will also be information stalls from the Fire Service, NHS and trading standards.
