I am concerned, as many other people, about the impact that the Junior Doctors strike will have, surely it's time to push for fresh negotiations to stop the strike and that Jeremy Hunt needs to be open to the suggested compromise.
I am, as a potential patient, worried about our local hospital service, and what the strike could mean for our families and friends in need of treatment.
My wife has recently had a hip replacement and the service and care afforded to her from both the hospital and physiotherapy has been exemplary.
I have also had to avail myself on a couple of occasions to use the A&E department at Wythenshawe Hospital again extremely good care and attention to detail, but I worry how much longer we can enjoy this service.
I hope others will put pen to paper to try do all in our power to stop Jeremy Hunt being so stubborn and get back to the negotiating table.
Yours sincerely,
Laurence Capewell
