EDUCATION will be one of the topics on the table when Kate Green, MP for Stretford & Urmston, hosts a community discussion in Partington on Friday from noon.

The event takes place at The Fuse on Warburton Lane and will be a chance for residents to meet their MP and chat to her about the big issues affecting local people such as housing, schools, immigration and jobs.

The discussion lasts until 1pm and is open to all Partington residents.

Ms Green said: “I know times are still really tough round here. Working people are £1,600 a year worse off under David Cameron, while more and more residents are worried about job insecurity and low pay.

“I want to hear your views on the matters concerning you and your family. That’s why I’m inviting local people to come and have a chat with me on Friday 26th September so I can hear about what really matters to people round here.

“If you would like to come along to the Fuse please call my office on 0161 749 9120, or you can just turn up on the day. I look forward to seeing you there."
