Grant to community choir
A SALE community choir has been awarded a £500 grant.
The grant was made to St Paul's Community Choir by the Royal Sun Alliance Community Projects Awards 2014, which supports pensioners.
The presentation was made by pensioner Donald Brooks and accepted by the vicar of St Paul's, the Rev Barbara Sharp.
The choir, which was established two years ago, encourages attendance from those who suffer from age related illnesses such as dementia, as well as providing an opportunity for their carers to meet up with others in the same situation.
