Altrincham and Sale West MP joins Altrincham Forward

ALTRINCHAM and Sale West MP Graham Brady has joined Altrincham Forward as an associate member.

The public / private sector partnership created to spearhead efforts to revitalise the town is currently working on its Town Centre Action Plan and has already identified business rates and supporting independent businesses as two of the issues to be prioritised.

Mr Brady said: “Altrincham Forward is now widely recognised as the vehicle to deliver the revitalisation of the town centre. T “The face of Altrincham is already changing with a major programme of regeneration schemes underway. I look forward to working with Matt Colledge and all involved in the partnership to achieve our joint vision of thriving local businesses in an attractive and well used town centre”

Cllr Matt Colledge, chairman of Altrincham Forward added: “Altrincham Forward has grown significantly since it was first launched and now has representatives of all key stakeholders among the board, associates, workstreams and forums.

“We welcome our Member of Parliament to the partnership - Graham is a powerful ally and will make a significant contribution to our activities, in particular our work on business rates.”
