1:17pm Wednesday 13th March 2013 in News
PARENTS and parents-to-be in Trafford can find top quality baby clothes, toys and equipment at a National Childbirth Trust (NCT) charity Nearly New Sale at Sale Grammar School on Saturday (March 16).
Well-established and trusted by over 200,000 parents who visit them every year, NCT Nearly New Sales represent the best sales of excellent quality used baby and children’s items and give parents the chance to save around 70 per cent on what they would cost brand new.
It will be held at Sale Grammar School, Marsland Road, from 10.30am to12 noon for the general public. NCT members get early entry at 10am when they show their membership card. Pushchairs will be allowed in from 11am.
There will also be a cake and refreshment area, a breastfeeding room and a raffle with top prizes including swimming lessons from Aqua Babies who sponsor NCT Trafford, and Musical CD from Jo Jingles. Entry is £1.
NCT Trafford is a charity which runs playgroups and first aid courses in Sale, Altrincham, Hale, Urmston and Stretford. Money raised at the sale will fund the charity’s work.
Samantha Eisen, Nearly New Sale organiser for Trafford NCT Branch, said: “It’s a great place to stock up on clothes and accessories for your little one with equipment like high chairs and moses baskets, maternity clothing and baby wear - including designer makes - all under one roof. Last time we had long queues outside so my advice is to arrive early.”
A chip and pin machine will be available at the sale and cash can be accepted but not cheques. The Children’s Society shop in Northenden will collect leftover donations after the sale.
