Coronation Street stars boost Manchester United Foundation

THE Manchester United Foundation’s inaugural Dancing with United event on March 7, as over £30,000 was raised on the night for the charity.

Stars from the world of sport and showbiz took to the dance floor in a bid to take home the glitter ball trophy, including former United player Quinton Fortune, former Bolton Wanderers player Fabrice Muamba, Coronation Street favourites Antony Cotton, Shobna Gulati and Jennie McAlpine and 2012 Strictly Come Dancing contestant Lisa Riley.

The event, which took place at The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club, was hosted by Angus Deayton and Ulrika Jonsson who were joined by a celebrity judging panel that included former Strictly judge and award-winning choreographer Arlene Phillips, dancer and TV-personality Louie Spence, and former United players Gary Neville and Nicky Butt Strictly Come Dancing professionals James and Ola Jordan, plus former stars Lilia Kopylova and Darren Bennett also performed spectacular show dances before Antony Cotton and Lisa Riley were crowned Dancing with United champions.
