Altrincham celebrates World Book Day
STAFF from Waterstones at the Altrincham’s Stamford Quarter got into the spirit of World Book Day by dressing up as characters from their favourite books, pictured.
They donned the costumes of characters from books such as Harry Potter, Paddington Bear, The Worst Witch, Little Red Riding Hood, The Hunger Games and Pride and Prejudice.
Children from Altrincham Church of England Primary School joined in World Book Day celebrations on March 7 by dressing up as characters from their favourite books and meeting award winning children’s author Adam Perrott, at Waterstones.
Adam also visited children at Well Green Primary and Stamford Park Primary School in Hale.
