Kids Allowed childcare chain plan for Altrincham could create 65 jobs

CHILDCARE chain Kids Allowed is planning to open a centre on Manchester Road in Altrincham.

A planning application will go in next month for the new centre.

If the scheme gets the go ahead, it would open in September 2014, providing places for 160 children and create around 65 jobs.

The purpose built centre will have age specific rooms with access to their own garden, a multi sensory room, one way porthole windows allowing parents to see their children settling in without disturbing them and biometric fingerprint technology, meaning that only colleagues and parents can enter the nursery.

The centre will also have a roof top garden.

Kids Allowed runs five centres in the South Manchester / Cheshire area.

"Our childcare centres provide high quality childcare as well as meeting the needs and expectations of family life. We know there is an under provision of childcare in Altrincham with many parents struggling to find a nursery place.
