Michele Backman cuts the cake
MICHELE Backman, owner of Black & White, the fashion shop on The Downs, Altrincham, cut her firm’s second birthday cake in front of invited guests last week.
Among them were residents of Altrincham and Sale who are members of Greater Manchester Friendship Force who welcome visitors from abroad and stay with families in other countries.
Michele said: “It was lovely to welcome Friendship Force members to my shop. I hope they will wear my clothes on their travels.”
