A HALE Civic Society (HCS) talk will be held at 7.45pm on February 27 at St Peter House, Murieston Road, Hale (entrance at the back).

The talk is entitled 'From cotton tots to new businesses and entrepreneurs'.

This year the society is celebrating 150 years of Hale station and the railway.

The evening will touch on the early growth of Hale and involve tastings and the introduction of the HCS Young Enterprise schemes plus a chance to meet one of the young entrepreneurs from the society. All welcome
