Scout group to receive donation at opening of Tesco Express in Sale Moor

A NEW supermarket opening in Sale Moor this month will celebrate its launch with a donation to the 9th Sale Scouts group.
A representative from the scout group will be the guest of honour when the new Tesco Express store opens on Friday (February 22) on Norris Road, Sale Moor and will be invited to cut a ribbon to declare the new store officially open.
Store manager, Neil Owen and his team will present a cheque for £500.
Tesco Express store manager, Neil said: “We are delighted to be able to support our local scout group, as they do such wonderful work in the community.
"We are really pleased that they are coming to launch the new store and join in the celebrations with us. My team and I are looking forward to welcoming our customers into the new store and we hope that Tesco will become a key part of the local community.”
The doors of the new Tesco Express on Norris Road open for the first time at 8am on February 22, with the official opening ceremony and cheque presentation taking place at 10.30am.
