Young traders on Altrincham market as part of Young Enterprise Company programme

YOUNG entrepreneurs will be honing their trading skills on Altrincham Market this weekend.

Students from Trafford schools have been running their own business through the Young Enterprise Company programme since September and will take part in a national competition in March On Saturday (February 2), Young Enterprise are working with Altrincham Market to provide trading opportunities for the young go-getters, aged 15 to 19.

The youngsters - from Sale High, Sale Grammar School and Altrincham Grammar School for Girls - will be at the market selling their wares from 9am to 4pm.

Young Enterprise is the UK’s largest business and enterprise education charity. Every year it helps 220,000 young people learn about business and the world of work in the classroom under the guidance of volunteers from 3,500 companies.
