Car fire on Gorsey Road, Altrincham

FIREFIGHTERS were called to Gorsey Lane, Altrincham, after a car caught fire.
The incident took place at around 2.40pm on Saturday, January 5.
It is thought the incident was caused by a mechanical fault to the brake pads of the car which was parked on the roadway.
A crew from Altrincham Fire Station put out the small blaze with a hose reel.
