THE Altrincham Electric Railway Preservation Society's (AERPS) next winter lecture will be on January 11 and is entitled "Transport around Manchester from 1750”.

This colour slide presentation will be given by Manchester historian Chris Makepeace.

The lecture is at Altrincham Methodist Church Hall, Barrington Road, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA14 1HF and begins at 7.30 pm. Admission £3 or free for AERPS members.
