CHILDREN from Stretford will be getting new play facilities thanks to the Veolia Environmental Trust.
The trust has awarded the Friends of Lostock Park a grant of £49,175 towards new play equipment at the park on Curzon Road, Stretford.
New play equipment will be installed alongside the existing play areas.
There will be sections for both younger and older children as the existing under 8s play space will have new equipment including timber roundabouts, swings and slides.
The project’s leader, Maureen Reilly, says, “It’s great that the Veolia Environmental Trust has awarded this grant and we look forward to working with them to develop and undertake a scheme that will result in the best for Stretford’s families.”
