OLDFIELD Brow Primary School's annual Harvest flower service had an added dimension, with pupils being challenged to produce something from the garden.
The classes produced a variety of items as well as receiving flower donations, which were delivered to residents and Woodend Nursing Home.
The classes raised more than £130 for Macmillan Nurses from their wares.
A surprise for headteacher Robert Merrell was a scarecrow designed to look like him, which year 1 pupils made.
Mr Merrell is pictured with some of the children who helped make the scarecrow.
