BOWDON-based Harmony Multicultural Association hosted one of Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Mornings recently.
The event was held at the Cresta Court Hotel, and raised £192 for Macmillan. This year’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event has already broken all records and raised over £12.3 million nationwide.
Harmony founder Kalpna Khurana, has supported the charity since 2000.
Amy Lewis, Macmillan fundraising manager, said: ‘We are thrilled with the response to World’s Biggest Coffee Morning this year. The support from local people has been phenomenal. We hope to see this success continue."
Kalpna is also a music and dance teacher, and would like to offer drumming workshops and lessons to members of the community and schools, in exchange for a donation to Macmillan. Call Kalpna on 0161 929 0383
