Multiple car pile up on M60 near Carrington Spur

THREE fire crews were called to the M60, near Carrington Spur, after a multiple car pileup at around 7.10pm last night.
Two ambulances were also requested, but one was stood down when it became clear there were no major injuries.
It is thought three cars were involved in the road traffic collision itself and another two were occupying lanes two and three, which created some congestion.
All of the casualties were walking wounded and were taken to Wythenshawe Hospital by ambulance.
The fire crews from Sale, Stretford and Withington made the vehicles and road safe and helped to get the traffic moving again.
