A TIMPERLEY family who had some items of large sentimental values stolen in a recent burglary are appealing for their return.

The burglary took place at a house on Marbury Drive sometime between October 11 and October 14.

A laptop, Sat Nav and camera were stolen, but the family said they only desire the return of some inherited bangles and a Rolex watch.

The watch belonged to a beloved family member who died last year and had his name inscribed inside.

It is described as a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Chronometer Official, with 26 jewels in steel, with black luminous dial and gold raised hands, and may bare resemblance to the model pictured.

PC Anthony Smith, of Stretford Police, said: “The victim is very upset that these items have been stolen as they are sentimental and she is keen to see them handed back.

“I would also appeal to pawnbrokers or jewellery shops in the area to be vigilant and if these items are brought in to your business, please phone us immediately.”
