Fire engine called to Altrincham home after cooker fire

A FIRE engine was called to a property on Urban Drive, Altrincham, after a cooker fire yesterday.
The crew from Altrincham Fire Station were called to the semi-detached house at around 11.25am, but the fire is thought to have occurred some hours before.
The firefighters did not need to put the fire out, but gave some advice and carried out a Home Safety Check.
