A TRAFFORD company has received the royal seal of approval for its success in international trade.
Regatta, the outdoor clothing and footwear manufacturers, was honoured at a ceremony at its base in Dumplington.
The Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester Warren J Smith presented Keith Black, chief executive of Regatta, with a coveted glass bowl and scroll to mark the company’s achievement of winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for international trade. Members of staff looked on as Mr Black picked up the prized award.
The company was started 35 years ago by his Keith’s father, Lionel Black.
