A TRAFFORD retail training manager and assessor has been shortlisted for a prestigious industry award and will get the chance to meet TV Dragon, Theo Paphitis, at a star-studded ceremony in London.
Natalie Kay, 33, from Sale, could win the ‘National Skills Academy for Retail’s Trainer of the Year’ category after making the shortlist for the Skillsmart Retail Rising Stars Awards, run by Retail Week.
After a glittering career in retail and consultancy, culminating in a successful period as account manager for Yves Saint Laurent in John Lewis, Cheadle, Natalie was looking for a new challenge and took up a position at the Manchester Skills Shop.
Instantly she proved to be a valuable asset, delivering inspirational retail training.
Natalie is also a retail assessor working with retailers such as Zara and Debenhams.
Natalie will join finalists on September 5 at Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Mayfair. The event will be attended by top names in retail, including Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis.
