Barkers the Florist in Timperley toasts success with a 10th anniversary party

TIMPERLEY florist Barkers partied in style recently.
The Thorley Lane shop invited staff, friends, customers and suppliers to a special party marking the 10th Anniversary of owners David Kirkman and Sarah Berrington taking over the business on July 1, 2002.
Over the past 10 years they have taken the business to new heights, with a new brand identity, launching an e-commerce website and introducing a loyalty scheme which now boasts more than 1,500 customers.
Over 100 guests attended the all day celebration and they were treated to a themed garden party get together, with food, drink and live entertainment.
Sarah said: “Like many businesses, we are fighting against the odds, but our focus is firmly on delivering a first class customer service and quality product. We’ve worked hard and we’re extremely proud to hit this milestone.
“Altrincham, Timperley and Hale are fantastic places to do business and we’re looking forward to our next decade here. We would like to thank all our customers for their support over the past 10 years, as their loyalty is what really makes us a success.”
