Occupancies rise on Carrington Business Park

CARRINGTON Business Park has announced that enquiries and occupancies are up on a year ago.
The park, which houses 80 businesses and in excess of 600 staff, has seen a 10 per cent increase on enquiries, with occupancy rates rising by two per cent.
Janet Smith, general manager at the 25-year-old business park thought that the figures showed a bright future for businesses in the region and said: “As a business which houses many new ventures in their infancy, we feel it is important that we let the public know that there is good news out there, with growing businesses looking at taking on bigger premises.”
She added: “Despite the difficulties still facing businesses we are seeing entrepreneurs with vision who are creating a variety of jobs in many diverse sectors. It goes to prove that this region is still very much open for business.”
