HALE app developer Apps4 have released a new service targeted at start-up businesses and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) who want greater customer interaction.
The new service is the only one in the UK which lets companies produce branded apps on a £250 budget, allowing them to ‘engage with customers on-the-go, while driving sales’.
‘Off-the-shelf’ apps are available as starter packages with either voucher functionality or multimedia features and additional upgrades can be added including geo-location and ticketing capabilities.
Apps4 founder Henry Hochland says: “We truly believe that apps are the way forward for start-ups and SMEs and as our new service shows, they don’t have to cost the earth!”
Established in 2009, Apps4 is made up of Mr Hochland, his 23 year-old business management and marketing student son, Sam, and technical director Paul Sanders.
Mr Sanders said: “We’ve accrued significant experience of developing bespoke apps for larger organisations, but in the current economic climate, many smaller companies just don’t have the budget.”
They have previously developed apps for bars, cafes, fashion boutiques and restaurants using iOS, Android and Blackberry platforms.
