High Access, the Hale-headquartered working at height expert, has invested £1million in expanding its fleet.

The investment follows the firm’s acquisition of truck-mounted platform business, AA Access, earlier this year. The acquisition further extended High Access’ already extensive range of high-level property services. The deal saw the business gain ground in several new sectors – including film, sport and music working on events such as Glastonbury, the Queen’s Jubilee and The Open.

This latest fleet investment sees High Access gain two new Bronto Skylift machines; S47XR (47m) and S70XR (70m) truck-mounted platforms.

The Bronto Skylift range is renowned for its impressive safety features and efficiency, with the S70XR machine recently named the best high-reach truck-mounted platform at the Movicarga PEM Awards.

Adam Bethell, director of AA Access at High Access, said: “We continue to concentrate on becoming the UK’s most comprehensive and efficient high-level property service provider, retaining the values of the high level of service and our safety first mantra as we grow.

“The new machines will enable us to further enhance our offering, provide an even stronger, more comprehensive service to our customers and broaden our reach across the UK, with a more efficient service for clients regardless of where in the UK they are based.”

High Access received an initial £3.3million investment from BGF in June 2016. BGF has continued to invest to support High Access’ acquisition strategy. The business has since fast-tracked its growth with the aforementioned acquisition of AA Access and the opening of a new depot in Slough to service the South. The company has also invested heavily in its fleet and people, recently receiving the Investors in People accreditation.
