BUSINESS is flourishing for Hale-based horticulture display specialists I Want Plants after signing a two-year deal with office-letting giants Bruntwood.
The family-run business will supply and maintain plants and green spaces throughout 57 of the property company’s shared office spaces.
I Want Plants recently completed the open-air roof terrace of Neo, Bruntwood’s £8m flagship redevelopment in Manchester city centre and an indoor treehouse at their 127 Portland Street offices.
Other projects in the city include supplying Living Venture’s newest restaurant Grand Pacific with two enormous Banana Trees as well as nine large palm trees in custom-made charred planters.
Richard Rowlands, managing director of I Want Plants, said: “As an independent family-run business, we are delighted to be working with Bruntwood – another family-run business.
“Bruntwood are renowned for leading the way in office space and understand the importance plants and greenery bring to the workplace – helping to boost productivity and creativity.
“We are looking forward to working alongside the team at Bruntwood to deliver some exceptional plant displays throughout their portfolio.”
I Want Plants, based, is the commercial branch of the business, running alongside I Want Trees which is aimed at the residential market offering instant gardens, mature fully-grown trees, and privacy hedges.
Both businesses are run by Richard from the firm’s headquarters - a medieval barn on the Hale/Ashley border.
