EMIRATES Old Trafford has appointed Tom Gibbs as the venue’s new event sales agent to meet the growing demand of new conference and events business.
Tom arrived at the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club in October from the Manchester Conference Centre and Pendulum Hotel where he has been part of the Conference and Events team for the past two years as a co-ordinator.
Tom will be responsible for handling all reactive enquiries and converting them to bring business to Emirates Old Trafford, and the city, as well as developing and growing already established accounts.
The 24-year old joins a 10-strong team of events experts here at Emirates Old Trafford who are led by Head of Conference and Events, Angela Hodson.
Tom Gibbs said: “Emirates Old Trafford has such an impressive reputation within Manchester and across the region and I’m delighted to have joined the team. I’m so excited to see what the next few years have in store!”
