A TRAFFORD Italian restaurant is giving people food for thought with a tasty visual puzzle.
Pesto, which has a restaurant in the Trafford Centre, has created a baffling brainteaser asking eagle-eyed customers to see if they can spot where a solitary fork is hiding amongst a mind-bending maze of pasta shapes.
The design is made even more difficult as it features a variety of pasta types from penne to conchiglie - all in a range of sizes and colours.
Pesto’s ‘cutlery conundrum’, which was created by Pesto’s Graphic Designer Mimi Jones, is the latest in a long line of ‘Where’s Wally’ style visual puzzles that have been proving popular on the internet this year.
Mimi comments: “We wanted to create a fun, interactive puzzle that left people scratching their heads and there was definitely only one theme for us to do – especially as National Pasta Day is on October 17th!
“We’re looking forward to seeing how many people go carb-crazy and manage to spot the fork in the pile of pasta.”
This puzzle has an added twist to it as if puzzle-solving diners can find the fork amongst the fusilli and farfalle and bring in a copy of the completed puzzle to their local Pesto restaurant by October 31st, they will be able to enter a prize draw to win a meal for two people at the restaurant.
