ALTRINCHAM solicitors McHale and Co has appointed Sue Appleton as its new head of conveyancing.
Sue, 46, has moved from Bury firm Butcher and Barlow, where she was a partner and head of conveyancing.
She will head up the conveyancing department and also become a partner at McHale and Co, which also has offices in Stretford and Heywood.
Sue, who is a married with a son, said: “I am delighted to be joining McHale and Co as they continue to grow their business.
“This will be a fresh challenge for me and I plan to build on the existing skills and talents at the firm to develop a quality conveyancing service focusing on delivering excellent customer service.
“There is team of about 15 in the department and any residential conveyancing comes under my remit.
“The plan is to expand and make it bigger and better.”
Sue, who lives in Worsley, qualified as a solicitor in 1994 having studied law in Wolverhampton University.
Originally from Leigh, she has worked at a number of firms across the north west.

“People with Sue’s management skills and level of expertise are hard to find, and she will spearhead the growth of our property department.
