AN Altrincham-based property developer, Altin Homes, has broken ground on two new sites with a combined value of £19m.

The sites, located in Sale and Hale, represent the two sides of the developer’s business – private commission mansions and luxury family homes.

The development in Sale, The Place, is located on Northenden Road. The two acre site will feature four and five bedroom family homes with prices starting at £410,000.

The Place is one of Altin’s 'Bijou Collection' developments where architectural design features and items of internal specification more typically seen in the company’s multi-million pound homes are built into a property of more modest proportions.

At the other end of the scale is Altin’s second current development; a one-off mansion located at Number 1 Hilltop, one of Hale’s most desirable addresses.

This £5m, 9,000 square foot property will be built over four floors and includes an internal lift. It will havee five bedroom suites including a leisure suite, complete with 11 metre swimming pool and a sauna on the second floor. The property also has an underground car park.

Altin Homes' managing director, Mohammad Khoy, said: “These are exciting times for Altin with two major developments underway.

"We are already seeing a significant level of demand for the development in Sale. No-one else is doing what we are doing with our Bijou Collection which is to see how many high-end features we can build in to a property and this is hugely appealing to buyers.

“We have already developed two large homes on Hilltop and we know how desirable an address it is. What we are doing at No. 1 Hilltop surpasses anything we have built in the past and requires a high level of engineering and construction know-how. It’s an amazing project and we are looking forward to seeing the property come out of the ground.”

Altin Homes won a What House? Award in 2014 in the Best Home category for a property at their first Bijou Collection development in Timperley.
