ALTRINCHAM and Sale Chamber of Commerce has announced a partnership with Start-Up Business Services, who help to provide support, advice and services to small businesses in the area.

Altrincham and Sale Chamber of Commerce is now officially the preferred partner for business support and networking for SUBS Altrincham, providing necessary support for new businesses along with a myriad of networking opportunities that are so vital to growing companies.

Start-Up Business Services (SUBS) offer free workshops, seminars and social mixers throughout the year to small businesses; covering a range of subjects from the art of selling and social media success, to business strategy and communication techniques.

These seminars will be promoted through the chamber of commerce and accessible to members and non-members alike.

David Bellin, founder of Start-Up Business Services, said: “We believe if more support is given to local start-ups and small businesses to help them thrive, we’ll in turn have a more healthy and buoyant local business community. This is beneficial to any business that works with or has clients that are small or start-up businesses themselves. So I guess it’s a win win for everyone.”

Sue Aldridge, chief executive of the chamber of commerce, said:“I want to support start ups in the area and encourage them to relocate to Altrincham.

"It is important we have the infrastructure in place and are able to offer a new business added value. I believe SUBS, together with the chamber, can do this and add an extra dimension in attracting new business to the Altrincham area.”
