ALTRINCHAM-based global recruitment company Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) has boosted the charity Mercy Ships.
The firm raised more than £13,000 for the charity in 2015, and is continuing to support it this year.
WRS held a wide range of events and fundraising activities throughout 2015 including a bike ride from Blackpool Tower to the Eiffel Tower, a number of bake sales and office fun days and half marathon.
Mercy Ships provides healthcare and life-changing surgery to extremely poor communities in Africa – patients who otherwise would typically not receive any medical care for a wide range of conditions.
Mercy Ships operates from a hospital boat 'Africa Mercy', and has been docked in Madagascar since October 2014 and is home to more than 450 volunteer crew members.
