SALE-based Social Communications has been crowned public affairs agency of the year at the PRmoment.com Awards 2016.

Social Communications provides public affairs and planning consultation services for a growing list of clients across the housing, retail, energy and property sectors.

The judges commented that: "Social Communication’s work has been consistently impressive and their internal culture is one to be admired."

The award acknowledges Social Communications’ public affairs work throughout 2015 for a number of national brands and businesses including Lidl, RBS, Extra MSA Group, Places for People, Linden Homes and Tesco.

The agency, which is not yet three-years-old, is also delivering work for a wide range of regional clients including Bruntwood, Miller Homes, One Manchester, Wiggett Construction and MMC Land & Regeneration.

John Quinton-Barber, managing director of Social Communications and a Timperley resident, said: “This has been a breakthrough year for Social Communications and we’re incredibly proud to have this industry recognition.

"The past 12 months have seen our client base increase significantly, with new opportunities and new employees joining the team across our consultation, PR and creative disciplines. We’re looking forward to continuing this exciting period of growth.”

Social Communications was launched in April 2013 by John Quinton-Barber and Caty Cartwright and provides public affairs services to clients across the UK. The agency now employs 11 members of staff.
