NEW Altrincham-based web studio Nettl is offering £500 website grants to help give smaller businesses the leg up they might need to start selling online.

In an effort to help give back to the business community, Nettl, based in Kings Court, is giving a £500 grant to companies in Altrincham and the surrounding areas to put toward a Nettl; a commerce web shop.

John McCall, of Nettl of Altrincham, said: “Our clients tell us they know they need to sell online but find it difficult knowing where to start. They hear about how expensive web development is and worry that they are going to get ripped off.

“It’s our mission to remove the black magic and mystery of ecommerce and help small businesses to just start selling online. “To show our support for local businesses, we’re offering any local business who signs up for a no-obligation consultation a £500 grant towards the cost of their web shop.”

The studio also offers responsive websites and a range of printing services, including business cards, leaflets, brochures and exhibition banners.

“We know print remains a large part of the marketing mix for many businesses in Altrincham,” added John. “There’s nothing like a physically-produced brochure to persuade and influence potential clients.”
