Hale-based marketing communications agency Peppermint Soda has scooped the Best PR & Marketing Agency of the Year award at the City of Manchester Business Awards (COMBA). The awards are held by Downtown Manchester in Business in association with Manchester City Council.

The COMBA gala awards dinner, now in its fifth year, celebrates the best of the city’s business world. Staged at Manchester Cathedral, it was attended by over 300 business leaders who were addressed by guest speaker Sir Howard Bernstein.

The win is the ninth award for Peppermint Soda in the past six months alone. Peppermint had previously scooped two gold and two silver awards at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) North West PRide Awards and won three golds and one bronze award at the Fresh Awards.

The Best PR & Marketing Agency of the Year award reflects Peppermint’s distinctive environment, which places a high premium on nurturing the potential of every single member of staff.

Jean-Philippe Glaskie, managing director at Peppermint Soda, said: “Winning the vote of Manchester’s business community to bring home the award for Best PR & Marketing Agency is an amazing accolade. We’re delighted!”
