A HOUSING developer says demand is exceeding its expectations for its latest project in Timperley.

Prospect Home reports that all 19 properties on the opening phase of its Met 32 development, off Deansgate Lane, have now been sold or reserved from plan.

The three and four bedroom homes have been snapped up without a show home or completed property to view.

Collette Riding, sales manager at Prospect Homes, said: “When Prospect Homes acquired the land next to the Bridgewater Canal and began planning Met 32, we were confident about the appeal of its waterside setting but we didn’t expect the entire opening phase to be sold from plan.

“In general terms the introduction of Help to Buy has rejuvenated the new homes market, but the sales performance at Met 32 represents an altogether higher level of demand.

“The fact that Prospect Homes are new to Altrincham makes the rate of sales even more impressive. There is clearly a great deal of demand for high quality new homes in the area.”

Met 32 comprises a total of 32 houses.
