ALTRINCHAM-based engineer James Niederbuhl has been awarded membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
James works as a project lead for Altrincham-based management, engineering and development consultancy Mott MacDonald.
He was presented with his membership certificate by Professor David Balmforth, president of ICE, at a ceremony held at ICE’s headquarters in Westminster.
To earn the accolade James had to meet the stringent requirements of ICE’s member professional review.
Stockport resident James said:“Civil engineering is part of everyday life, but sometimes the things that are easily taken for granted are the most interesting.”
ICE represents 80,000 civil engineers across the world.
