ALTRINCHAM-based engineering consultancy, Clancy Consulting, has boosted two charities in the year it celebrated its 40th anniversary.

The company presented £14,700 split equally between two charities nominated as beneficiaries for the year - the British Heart Foundation, and RedR UK, a charity which trains relief workers to go into disaster zones.

A dinner was held where staff and their partners from nine offices around the UK attended.

This event marked the culmination of fundraising activities that have taken place over the past 12 months, including an 821-mile bike ride linking Clancy’s offices, involving 57 cyclists.
