Hale charity worker caught drink driving

A CHARITY worker was caught driving through Wythenshawe at an “excessive speed” after she had been drinking.

Danielle Dolan, 23, of Hale, gave wrong traffic signals while being followed by police, Manchester city magistrates heard.

On being stopped she smelled strongly of alcohol and was almost twice the limit, said Prosecutor Matthew Siddall.

Dolan, of Old Meadow Lane, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol in the early hours of September 15.

She was given an interim ban and sentence was deferred until she appears on another matter on November 8.
