Trafford projects benefit from £2.25 million grant

MORE than 30 projects have received a cut of £2.25 million as part of Trafford Partnership.
The money has been awarded to Trafford projects which have successfully achieved performance targets in the form of Performance Reward grants.
The council believes the projects have already had some great successes, with some of the schemes receiving regional and national recognition.
One success story is Bridgewater Way, with highway elements of the scheme between Barton Aqueduct and Parkway now substantially complete and on schedule.
Chair of the Trafford Partnership and Trafford Council leader, Cllr Matt Colledge, said: “These projects are fantastic examples of what can be achieved when different organisations, under the banner of the Trafford Partnership, work together.
We are spending national money on local projects, which will have real, immediate and sustainable benefits for Trafford residents and businesses”.
