Celebrity chef, Simon Rimmer, and designer, Caroline Castigliano, launch collection in Hale

CELEBRITY chef, Simon Rimmer, and prominent British designer, Caroline Castigliano, celebrated the launch of Castigliano’s 2013 bridal collection in Hale last week.

The pair had lunch at Rimmer’s restaurant, Earle, on Cecil Road, before moving on to a champagne reception at Lace bridal boutique, on Ashley Road.

Castigliano is internationally renowned, having worked with Jasper Conran and dressed stars such as Helen Mirren, so it was quite the coup for her to launch her new collection at Lace.

Rimmer is also a celebrity in his own right, appearing regularly on Chanel Four’s ‘Sunday Brunch’ and the BBC’s ‘Something for the Weekend’ previous to that.

The designer talked about her latest bridal collection as well as giving personal tips for bridal and occasion wear, while Rimmer discussed canapé ideas.
