SALE High School students Kara Eden and Faye Greaves have sets their sights high by undertaking the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award.

The The girls, who have just started year 11 and have just been awarded their bronze awards and loved the challenges so much that there was no doubt in their minds about joining up to the next level.

Challenges awaiting the duo over the next 12 months include completing a three night camping and 48 km walking expedition in the Peak District.

Faye and Kara are really looking forward to the challenges ahead and can’t wait to include their achievements on their college applications and CVs.
