A NEW family show which will take theatregoers on a journey through time is coming to Sale.
It has been crreated by BAFTA nominated children’s TV presenter Andy Day and his comedy partner Mike James.
Andy said they wanted to create a piece of theatre that will appeal to all ages and he said the audience will meet some colourful characters along the way.
The star of the CBeebies show Andy’s Wild Adventures said: “Its got a nice little storyline where we basically stumble across a toilet cubicle in our garden that has magically appeared. We find that it’s my great great great granddad’s magical workshop and in the workshop we find a time machine and we go back in time to collect these things that are important to oir older selves in the future. On the journey we come across knights, cowboys and so on.”
Andy said the idea was born out of the pair’s mutual love of classic time travel films like Back To The Future and Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure.
