Launch of My Choice Marketplace

A NETWORK of organisations helping to support people living independently is being launched on Thursday (September 20).

My Choice Marketplace brings together groups that operate under shared principles to provide quality independent living support for vulnerable people, including those on personal budgets.

It means service providers can easily share best practice and work together more closely to ensure consistent quality for the people they are supporting. The launch takes place at Waterside Arts Centre, in Sale, on Thursday from 10am-3pm. There will be information stands, demonstrations, music, guest speakers and refreshments. There will also be taster sessions in areas such as complementary therapy and relaxation techniques. The Mayor of Trafford, Cllr Patricia Young, will be attending.
