A CHILDREN'S charity has congratulated two of its patrons on their stunning success in the Paralympics.

Sarah now has a total of 11 Paralympic golds to her name, matching Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson's women's record Children’s charity, the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT), is especially proud of the sporty couple as they have been patrons of the charity for many years.

Paul Farrington, chief executive of CAFT, said: “We are incredibly proud of Sarah and Barney and what they have achieved at this year’s Paralympics. We’ve always known they were amazing and hardworking athletes, but I’m not sure even we could have predicted their impressive medal haul.

"They’re such an inspiration to us all, but particularly the children who we support."
