Sale man convicted for stealing mother's ring

A 33-year-old man was arrested on School Road, Sale, yesterday after trying to pawn a diamond ring believed to be his mother’s.
Damien Johnston was later found guilty of theft in dwelling and was issued with a suspended sentence and community service.
